The property was once home to the local village bobby and has been lovingly refurbished and presented with fun nods to the past and a lovely French style. From the hallway, head into the snug with two comfortable sofas to relax on, a Smart TV, and a range of books, toys and games for entertainment. The open plan kitchen/diner has dual aspect windows, a large dining table, and a cosy wood burner. This is a lovely social space to sit together after a day out exploring the area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a range of meals with a well ventilated larder cupboard for extra storage and a utility area. The boot room is off the utility area and provides secure additional storage space for equipment and bikes. There are baskets of toys for the garden, plenty of coat hooks and boot racks for your walking gear, and a useful ceiling clothes airer. There is also a ground floor shower room. At bedtime, head upstairs to find three beautifully presented bedrooms, each with plenty of stylish storage space and built in wardrobes. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and a third with a king size zip and link bed which can be made up as twin beds on request. The family bathroom completes the accommodation. A door from the boot room leads out to the side of the house and access to the rear garden with a tall gate that opens to the front. To the rear, there is a small, suntrap patio area with a bistro table and chairs where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee with a good book. There is a hot and cold outside tap which is useful for cleaning walking boots and dogs paws, and you have access to the shed. Stone steps lead up to the generous, enclosed lawned garden with a picnic style table (picnicware provided), a range of seating for al fresco dining and blankets for dark skies stargazing, and there is a full size French boules/petanque pitch, perfect for a fun, family tournament.
