Keen walkers will enjoy a host of local footpaths that criss cross the nearby South Downs, and Beachy Head (3 miles) Drusillas Park (8 miles) and Herstmonceux Castle (15 miles) are all well worth a visit. Brighton and Lewis are only a train ride away for a great day out.
