Matlock bath is nestled within a beautiful wooded gorge by the River Derwent. The splendid Chatsworth House (8.5 miles), Haddon Hall (7.5 miles) and Crich Tramway Village (5.5 miles) are close by, or why not take advantage of good walking routes around the Derwent Valley and White Peak. The ground floor apartment is accessed via a flight of external steps. Stepping into the spacious hallway provides space to take off your coat and boots and wander through to the open plan lounge/diner which is sure to give an impressive first impression with huge vaulted ceilings and spacious open plan living. There is shared seating coming in spring, outside the front of the building, a great spot to sit and watch the motorcycles that regularly visit Matlock Bath, fly by. There is free off road parking nearby on a first come first served basis, other parking can be found at the nearby car park a short walk away from the property, there is a parking permit available for 24.80 for the week.
