Cemaes Bay 3.7 miles. Situated in the quaint village of Carreglefn, just outside Cemaes Bay for your amenities, is this detached, Georgian-style property, Llechog. This is the perfect family home for a relaxing holiday in the countryside, which is pet-friendly just a short drive away from the coast for scenic walks with your pooch. Llechog has all you need for a wonderful stay, including a large garden with a barbecue for alfresco dining and a Juliet balcony to watch the sunset. Be greeted by a private driveway with spaces for five cars before stepping inside to the entrance hallway; here you can kick off your walking boots, ready to explore. On your right, discover the sitting room, containing two sofas, a smart TV for some downtime and an open fire that adds to the homely atmosphere. Next door, the little ones can keep entertained in the playroom with a Nintendo Wii and a TV. The kitchen is a well-equipped space with a range, an electric oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, dishwasher, and slate worktops. When meals are served, gather in the dining room to tuck-into a feast or why not head outside onto the large garden and make use of the barbecue? As day draws to night, retreat inside and venture upstairs where you can choose between two bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower and the other with a double bath for a long soak with a shower over. The first-floor hosts four bedrooms, a king-size with a Juliet balcony and Jack-and-Jill access to a bathroom, two doubles and a twin bedroom, ideal for the younger ones. In the morning, awaken with a cup of tea in the rear garden whilst the chef of the group prepares a home-cooked meal. A short car journey will lead you to seaside village of Cemaes Bay, with a wide sandy beach, excellent views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains and a sheltered harbour. The village is home to a few small shops, a couple of restaurants and a couple of pubs, and there are also a few takeaway places. If you're looking for a place to really get away from it all, Church Bay is the perfect spot where you can find the Lobster Pot Restaurant, Church Bay Inn and Wavecrest Cafe. And when you're done taking in the sights, be sure to check out the Gadlys Hotel, Cemaes for a drink or two. Visit the town of Holyhead, with RSPB Cymru Ynys Lawd, RSPB South Stack, Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi Breakwater Country Park, and the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, there is plenty to see and do outdoors. Llechog is a lovely base for a family seeking an escape to Anglesey.
