You are welcomed to the property by a spacious hallway where you can leave any coats and shoes before stepping into the stylish sitting room, where a gas fire takes centre stage as you grab some popcorn and put on a family movie. Moving through the property there is a stylish kitchen/diner, with lovely bird wallpaper, and everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday, along with a handy washing machine and a lovely round dining table to feel close with your loved ones as you plan the day ahead over some breakfast. There are two well-decorated bedrooms; a double and a twin, both very pretty and with storage space to make yourself feel at home, along with a contemporary bathroom where you can choose to indulge in a bath or freshen up under the waterfall shower. Outside there is a private driveway with room for up to three cars, and a large enclosed garden to the rear, with a lovely swing seat, as well as furniture in a sun trapped patio area, to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining. Enjoy scenic walks along the riverbank with a ramble to Lincoln being around five miles, whilst the other direction takes you along to the next village of Fiskerton, around 1.5 miles away, where you can find a delightful pub. Cherry Willingham itself boasts two lovely pubs along with a Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop, perfect for when you fancy a night off from cooking, along with a couple of convenience stores, catering to all you needs. There is also the Water Railway cycle route two miles from the property which provides miles of traffic free cycling. A route which can be followed into Lincoln and beyond to Doddington Hall and Harby which is the place where Queen Eleanor of Castile, (wife of King Edward 1 died). The other way you cycle through Bardney to Woodhall spa and then in to the Lincolnshire Wolds if you so desire. Venture into the city of Lincoln to explore the attractions on offer here, first heading to the historic Lincoln Castle where you can walk around the walls and climb the tower before soaking up the city views. Other places to visit include the hill-top medieval cathedral, a number of aviation attractions, and the many quirky and independent shops lining the streets. Also within driving distance are many picturesque walks; stroll around the gardens of the Elizabethan mansion, Doddington Hall, or head to Whisby Nature Park which is full of wildlife and interesting trails, as well as the Grade II listed Hartsholme Country Park. Also within driving distance is the fun packed Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park where you can meet the animals, play in the play area or explore the Tropical Paradise, which makes a great day out for kids, or if a bit of history sounds more enticing, head to Lincolnshire's transport museum.
