As well as activities such as caving, abseiling and a high wire rope course, the area plays host to a number of attractions, including Puzzlewood, the Dean Forest Railway and Chepstow Castle. Venture outside the village and visit the historic market town of Monmouth or the cathedral city of Gloucester where you can browse an array of shops or go to a selection of pubs and restaurants. Slightly further afield is the unspoilt Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park) and Black Mountains for walking opportunities in Wales or you could marvel at the timbered Tudor houses in the lovely town of Ross-on-Wye.
