The Chalet is an impressive, detached holiday home sitting in the village of Outwell, Norfolk. With five bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests, this lovely property has a country theme throughout with ground-floor living, off-road parking for four cars, high-quality amenities, and an enclosed garden with a sheltered hot tub and outdoor seating for a truly relaxing holiday in Norfolk. You'll be greeted by a spacious hallway leading to a large sitting room with two corner sofas, a wall-mounted TV, and coffee tables to host family movie nights, whilst the open-plan living space is sure to be the social hub of your holiday. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need to cook at home, along with a wine cooler, dishwasher, and a utility next door with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Relax on the sofa or at the breakfast bar overlooking the garden with a glass of wine in hand, before gathering around the table for 10 to catch up over an evening meal. On summer evenings, open the bi-fold doors to let the outside in; your large, secluded garden is not overlooked so you can dine alfresco, read under the parasol on the reclining chairs and sink into the hot tub in peace. The Chalet has three shower rooms, two on the ground floor and one upstairs. The bedrooms consist of two super-king-size zip/link bedrooms, two on the ground floor, along with a double, each beautifully furnished with storage space, mirrors, and rustic decor. The village of Outwell is a great countryside location with The Crown pub and a choice of shops, as well as walks and cycle paths from your doorstep, and natural wetlands and RSPB reserves nearby, including the Welney Wetland Centre where you can watch swans nest and migrate in their natural habitat. Spend the day exploring the nearby towns of Wisbech, home to Peckover House and Garden, and King's Lynn along the coast with a selection of museums, the Shakespeare's Barn Guildhall theatre, and the historic Red Mount Chapel. Further afield, you'll find the cities of Peterborough, Ely with its Gothic-style Cathedral, and Cambridge, each with plenty of historic sites and parks to explore. You can also escape the hustle and bustle at Thetford Forest Park with a variety of trails, woodland, and various activities for the whole family. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or planning a relaxing break, look no further than The Chalet.
