Spacious Apartment near Penzance Seafront, Penzance

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 4

Summary:
This lower ground apartment is located on a beautiful Victorian terrace on the leafy outskirts of Penzance. The town centre is a 10-minute walk away, whilst the seafront promenade or lido is walkable in under five-minutes! The apartment is clean and comfortable, with space for four people to spread out and enjoy a holiday in Penzance.

The Space:
Quiet and comfortable, the living room features an exposed brick fireplace, large sofa, colourful furnishings, a dining table and smart TV. Next door, the kitchen is fully stocked with numerous mod cons; find a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The master bedroom is spacious and has some delightful touches: find a cast iron bed, pretty antique furniture and artwork that hangs on the walls. There is a further second bedroom with single bed and pull out trundle bed. A modern bathroom with a shower has been recently renovated. Its convenient location to the seafront, the South West Coastal Path and Penzance town centre make this a great bolthole for a coastal getaway! Free parking is available on the street outside the flat, as well as on surrounding streets.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedroom/s.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment through a private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in a converted townhouse in a leafy Victorian terrace. It is a quiet neighbourhood, but still centrally located so benefits from having shops, restaurants and attractions close by.

For lovely independent shops head to the historical Chapel Street. No 56 homewares, The Planted Shop and The Artist Residence's Clubhouse are all well worth a visit. Clubhouse is a superb restaurant serving up delicious cocktails and meals using locally sourced produce. The roof terrace is also a rather special spot on a warm sunny day! Other good eateries include Mermaid Alley, The Shore Restaurant and Bakehouse.

The Penzance Lido is well-known in Cornwall and great to visit a warm day. Head there for a brisk dip in the outside pool or to just sit and admire the beautiful views! For day trips, make a quick journey down the road to Mousehole - an idyllic village with great restaurants, cafes and harbour. You can pick up the South West Walking Path and head in any direction - we'd certainly recommend walking to Newlyn for lunch at Mackerel Sky seafood bar.

Beach lovers should head to Long Rock beach for day's splashing in the waves or building sandcastles. Marazion Beach has stunning views out over St Michael's Mount, and you can even take a walk over when the tide is on your side! A little further along the coast is Praa Sands, which is well-known for surfing and has a splendid beach bar for an evening tipple or two.

Getting Around:
Penzance benefits from very good travel connections with trains operated by Great Western Railway running right into the centre of town. There are also lots of buses running to other areas and attractions in Cornwall. So if you do not have a vehicle, it is easy to still enjoy your time here. For those that do have a car there is free parking on the street outside the flat.

Interaction with Guests:
We will be available via message, email and phone during your stay. Any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Located in Penzance, this apartment is near the beach. Trengwainton Garden and National Dahlia Collection are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Wharfside Shopping Centre and Trevaskis Farm. Sennen Surfing Centre and Paradise Park and JungleBarn are also worth visiting.
