The town centre of Stalham is close by with a supermarket and local shops, including a fabulous butchers, to pick up any essentials, as well as boasting a host of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The surrounding area is scattered with boatyards, waterways and marinas, all providing interesting scenery to soak up during walks, bike rides and boat rides. Venture out onto the water on canoes, kayaks or even paddle-boards, with local activity organisers in the Broads to go to if you don't have your own gear. For a fun day out head to Norfolk's coast at Sea Palling Beach or Happisburgh Beach, both with long sandy shores to enjoy and plenty of seaside amenities. Families can look forward to trips to the likes of Bewilderwood Norfolk, Roar Dinosaur Adventure, Sea Life at Great Yarmouth and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens.
