There's also a useful outdoor hot and cold shower area to shower away your cares when you come back from the beach. Just a short stroll will take you to the wonderful Frinton Beaches, a sweeping shoreline boasting Frinton Golf Course, fantastic watersport opportunities in the mild climate of the south east ‘Sunshine Coast’. Give the chefs of the group a break from cooking one evening and enjoy a meal at one of the local eateries such as Avenue Bistro, a charming and stylish restaurant, or perhaps make your way to Pier One for a menu of fresh seafood. Making your way up the coast, you will reach the delightful seaside town of Walton-on-the-Naze, home to more fantastic beaches and the Walton Pier, offering games and activities, perfect for little ones. Walton also plays host to the Walton Maritime Museum, offering a unique insight into the history of Walton's lifeboats and their crew. Further afield, a scenic car journey will take you to Layer Marney Tower, a historic manor home surrounding by picture-perfect gardens; you can also stop for a spot of afternoon tea before heading back to your dwelling.
