On-site you can find a handful of facilities including a tennis court, children’s play area and crazy golf, as well as a number of woodland walks and the fabulous pebble beach which is just a five-minute stroll from the cottage. Head into Walmer or Deal to find a whole host of restaurants and traditional pubs to try, plus a unique high street full of independent shops to browse. Just a 20-minute drive south will bring you to the White Cliffs of Dover, one of the country’s most spectacular natural features where you can enjoy exhilarating cliff top walks with unrivalled views of the English Channel. Take some time to explore the National Trust and English Heritage owned castles, a must-see for any keen historians, or take a trip to the city of Canterbury, where you can stroll down the cobbled streets, sample a fine selection of eateries and shops, and explore local attractions such as the Cathedral and Roman Remains.
