Situated on the Glan Gwna Holiday Park, on the edge of Caeathro, just two miles from Caernarfon, is Eirlys, a cosy terraced property ideal for a family or group wanting to spend quality time together exploring the spectacular North Wales coast and countryside. The cottage welcomes you into a lovely sitting room, with two sofas placed around a cosy electric fire, ideal for relaxing after an action-packed day, turning on the TV and enjoying a family movie night. The compact but well-equipped kitchen/diner has all the appliances you need to create home-cooked meals, which you can enjoy at the dining table. The ground-floor bathroom suite offers a choice of bath with shower over, where you can wash away the sand after a day at the beach, and head upstairs to find the three bedrooms, comprising a master double bedroom, a spacious single and a triple bunkroom with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top. Stepping outside the cottage, there is an enclosed patio area at the front with furniture, where you can enjoy late afternoon drinks after a day exploring the local delights. On site, you will find a lake that offers great trout fishing, if you have a rod license, while the coastline of Caernarfon with it's many shops and famous 13th century medieval castle, as well as an award-winning butcher's and a renowned fish and chip shop, is less than two miles away. Discover a choice of picturesque beaches along the Menai Strait, or you can jump on a train to Porthmadog with its Blue Flag beaches and harbour and spend an afternoon browsing the shops there. Explore the unspoilt countryside, rugged mountains and glacial landforms of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, including a climb up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest mountain. Cross the Menai Bridge over to the Isle of Anglesey and spend the day at one of its pristine beaches, or walk the coastal path to enjoy some incredible scenery. Eirlys is a great base for a family seeking an adventure in North Wales.
