Cottage in Somerset, Bruton

Somerset. Sleeps up to 2

This beautiful semi detached barn is situated in the heart of the owners working farm where walks are in abundance, being literally accessible from your doorstep, and the local pub is within a mile. It's a perfect location for exploring three counties Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. Sightseers have plenty of choice with numerous National Trust properties within a short drive, including Stourhead House and Gardens. Longleat with its famous Safari Park is great fun, alternatively, for those who like a flutter or simply enjoy the spectacle, Wincanton Racecourse is close by. A little further afield is the historic spa town of Bath and the cathedral city of Salisbury. You could also enjoy a day trip to the Dorset Jurassic Coast. Enter into the hall from the yard; you will find a useful space to hang coats and put your muddy boots. Then move into the spacious kitchen/diner with everything you need to cook up a storm, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with icebox, dishwasher and washing machine. Then back to the hall and into the lounge which has two sets of French doors: one opening into the yard and the others into an enclosed garden with beautiful far reaching countryside views. Sit back and relax next to the inglenook fireplace with wood burner and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. There is also a bathroom with roll top bath, separate shower and WC. Heading upstairs, you will find the super king size bedroom with apex ceiling, exposed beams and Smart TV, and there is also an en suite WC. Head outside into the enclosed garden which has a patio and seating for you to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining or summertime sunbathing. There is also storage for bikes, dog washing facilities and ample off road parking.
