Llanfynydd is a quiet village with a traditional village pub, the Pen Y Bont Inn is open for home made food and take aways, just 150 yards away. Set in a sheltered valley within easy reach of both Llandeilo and the county town of Carmarthen, both with an excellent selection of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The location is ideal for exploring the fantastic coastline and attractions of Carmarthenshire. Beautiful Llansteffan, with imposing castle, sandy beach and seaside shop is within easy reach. For nature lovers, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is a must, as is Aberglasney House and Gardens and Dinefwr Castle and Deer Park, all of which are a short drive away. Mountain bikers will love the trails in nearby Brechfa forest. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). On entering this charming cottage, you will be greeted by the spacious, open plan lounge/diner, featuring comfy sofas, chairs and a dining table for six. Here you can relax in the evenings, watch the Smart TV or simply reflect on your day and plan the next adventure. Cooking is a dream in the adjoining light and spacious kitchen which is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave to cook and prepare meals during your holiday. Upstairs to the first floor, there are three bedrooms: one king size, one twin and a single plus a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside, you will find an enclosed courtyard with table and chairs, a perfect spot for alfresco dining. There is private parking for two cars.
