Hen Brynbedw is a detached stone cottage situated near the old town of Llanybydder in the county of Carmarthenshire. An ideal retreat for couples or families, this property would appeal to those in need of relaxing getaway with plenty of outdoor opportunities. After parking up in the ample off road parking, you enter the property into the living area, expressing a light and airy feel with the high apex ceilings and french doors which draw light in. On a slightly raised level, the kitchen/diner comes well-equipped with a range of appliances, allowing the chef amongst the group to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is a WC and small utility area with washer and dryer, handy if your trails venture off on a muddier route. Take a walk along the banks of the River Teifi or the fields that surround it, appreciating the Welsh countryside in all its glory. The market town of Llanybydder is two miles away and offers pub and eateries, plus a couple of small stores for provision. For a wider choice of shops, just ten minutes down the road is the market town of Lampeter, housing a number of small quirky shops and two sizeable supermarkets, while the county town of Carmarthen is half an hour drive away and offers a busy shopping centre and several well-known high street stores. The location of this property also makes it ideal for visiting the coastal towns of Aberaeron, New Quay and Llangrannog, or the southern Cambrian mountains and the wonderful Brechfa Forest, which is great for walks and mountain biking, is less than a 10 minute drive up the road.
