Perfectly situated on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is much to see and explore including steep ridges, valleys, picturesque villages, ancient features and historic houses. The Cathedral city of Exeter with its array of high street shops, pubs and restaurants is just a short drive away. The world renowned Jurassic Coast and the delightful seaside resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exmouth are also within driving distance. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Hembury Fort, Escot Gardens and numerous National Trust properties and gardens, such as Killerton. Step inside this barn and you will find yourself in the useful entrance hallway with plenty of space to hang coats and store boots. You are drawn straight ahead to the lovely light open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceilings adding to the sense of space. The kitchen area is eye catching with quartz work surfaces and everything you need to cook up a storm, including an electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. From the dining area, large sliding doors provide easy access out to the patio, lawn and woods for al fresco dining. Heading back through the property, the bedrooms consist of one master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite shower room with WC. Enjoy views towards the wooded area where hammocks are hung between the trees and in the clearing, you can watch the wildlife, take in the countryside views and experience the outdoor life.
