You can enjoy a luxurious relaxing spa treatment at Slaley Hall or play a round of golf at their prestigious 18 hole course. Those seeking a more relaxing break can enjoy a visit to the nearby Knitsley Farm Shop, Wheelbirks Jersey ice cream farm or Bywell smokery. The cathedral city of Durham is 15 miles away. You can also take trips to Northumberland National Park, Hadrian s Wall or the Yorkshire Dales. On entering this lovely, spacious cottage, you will find yourself in the welcoming and bright open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Delightfully furnished and with a traditional wood burner and TV/DVD, the cosy lounge is ideal for relaxing in. There s a stylish dining area, and a kitchen fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and Dulci Gusto coffee machine. You will also find a ground floor WC. There is an enclosed store room for bikes. Going upstairs, you will find two cosy bedrooms, each with TV/DVD and en suite bathrooms with shower over the bath and WC. There s a double room (zip and link which can be made into a twin on request) and a comfy king size room. Stepping outside, there s large courtyard which is shared with the other properties on site, and there s also a garden with private seating area for you to relax in.
