Further afield are the historic country towns of Bishop Aukland, Barnard Castle, Hexham and Durham itself. There is a bus stop just outside the cottage and a regular service through Weardale and beyond. There is a designated parking spot just outside and beyond the small front yard and further parking is available at the end of the terrace.

Located in Bishop Auckland, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river.
