If you're feeling adventurous, more pubs and restaurants can be found a short drive from the property. The cottage is ideally situated for the best local attractions, so whether it's a day exploring historic Alnwick Castle, a trip back in time at Beamish Open Air Museum, or an indulgent shopping trip into Newcastle city centre, everything that the north east of England has to offer is only a drive away. After you've parked up and taken in the attractively landscaped grounds, you'll be welcomed into the cottage through the pretty miniature front garden. You'll find a large, contemporary living room on the first floor, complete with TV and dining table, ideal for entertaining the family after a busy day out. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, all perfect for cooking a delicious meal. Two king size bedrooms ( these rooms can be turned into twin rooms upon request) are on the ground floor and there is also a separate shower room on this floor, complete with WC. The first floor of the cottage has one, stylish king size bedroom with en suite bathroom. As well as using the grass area outside the cottage, guests are welcome to explore the grounds, with over twenty acres of gardens and paths perfect for a brisk morning walk. There's also a shared indoor swimming pool, spa and gym, so you can either sit back and relax or work up a sweat.
