Allensford is a small hamlet located in the Derwent Valley, an area surrounded by the almost unspoiled countryside of Northumberland and the North Pennines. The cottage is located on a vibrant and bustling hotel venue that is criss crossed with spectacular country walks and is only a short trip away from plenty of great attractions for the whole family. Whether it's a day spent taking a trip back in time at Beamish Open Air Museum, exploring the world of Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle, or indulging in a shopping trip to Newcastle, Durham or the Metro Centre, you're only a short ride away by car. As you enter the cottage via a lovely miniature front garden, you'll be greeted by a generous living space with large sofa, TV, and dining table, perfect for a night in after a busy day of exploring. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, a fridge and microwave. There's also a dishwasher to take the strain off mealtimes. The ground floor hosts two bedrooms with king size beds, both of which can be converted to twin rooms on request, and a shower room including WC. The master bedroom is found on the first floor, including a luxurious king size bed and en suite shower room with WC. Set in gorgeous extensive grounds of landscaped countryside, you'll be able to spend plenty of time outside or just relaxing on the grass next to the cottage.There's also a fantastic onsite shared pool, spa, and gym, as well as a friendly pub and restaurant, so you don't have to venture far for food and drink.
