For those looking to soak up some local culture, The Eden Project and The Tate Gallery at St Ives are both nearby, St Agnes with its heritage mine ruins, Chapel Porth, Truro, while Land s End and Newquay Sealife Centre and Flambards Theme Park are perfect for families that wish to explore the wider area. A network of footpaths and Tehidy Country Park (with lake, golf course and cafe) can be reached via a well kept footpath direct from the cottage which is ideal for dog walkers. Enjoy the immediate surrounding with some lovely walks directly from the property. In the evenings, visit one of many local family pubs all serving good food. Inside, the accommodation is open plan and very spacious. Vaulted ceilings are lined with exposed beams and ceiling trusses while deep window sills add to the original charm of the property. The kitchen/diner is a spacious family area, perfect for entertaining and cooking up a storm; it includes an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Once you have finished your meals, retire to the lounge, where comfortable sofas sit beneath more exposed ceiling trusses, a cosy and interesting space to enjoy the Smart TV/DVD, and video available. There are two bedrooms in this property, one king size with ensuite and one twin. There is also a spacious bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden area with seating and a BBQ (available upon request), perfect for summer evenings. Guests are also invited to explore the farm and befriend the resident cows and sheep throughout their stay.
