Situated in a peaceful location in Kent s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this enchanting shepherds hut offers a rural escape from everyday life. When not exploring the many footpaths that forge the rolling countryside, guests can head into nearby Benenden to pick up fresh produce from the local butchers and shops, or enjoy a delicious meal at the village pub. With two vineyards nearby and the Kent and East Sussex coast not far away, there is plenty to do and see in this spectacular pocket of the South East. Inside, the hut has been decorated to evoke a calming and spacious feel. There is a small kitchen area with a hob, microwave, mini fridge and coffee machine, perfect for starting the day with a bacon sandwich from the local butcher. Guests are also provided with a standard welcome pack, that contains milk, bread, butter, jam or honey and a small bottle of wine or apple juice, with the option of purchasing a special basket by prior arrangement to include more produce. There is also a butler s sink with plate rack above, and a wrought iron table and chairs for dining inside at night. The double bed sits at one end of the hut beneath a pretty window bordered by wooden shutters with decorative cut out hearts. Beneath the bed there is plenty of storage for your stay, together with a hairdryer and wooden hangers. The en suite shower room with shower and WC with sandstone tiling, a power shower, toiletries and even slippers. Outside the hut is a peaceful garden area with a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the Charbroil Professional 3400S gas BBQ with a side ring, there is also a large cool box behind the hut for extra cold storage. As you dine, you will notice the grazing sheep and llamas in the paddocks beyond a truly unique and memorable experience.
