The lodge is in a great spot to explore the whole of North Cornwall with the popular resort town of Bude within a half an hour's drive. Bude has a selection of beaches and shops and is worth a visit for great for a day out. You may like to head to the medieval village of Tintagel, with its craggy ruins steeped in myths and legends and Merlin s Cave set in dramatic surroundings with a beautiful waterfall. If you fancy travelling slightly further afield, other attractions accessible from here include Port Isaac, Padstow and Rock, The Eden Project, the Tate Gallery at St Ives, and numerous National Trust properties. From the main road, the property is accessed via a farm track. As you enter the lodge, there is an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area enjoys stunning countryside views which can be enjoyed from the comfy sofas. In the lounge area, there is a Smart TV/DVD, and a flame effect electric fire, which is perfect to use on cooler evenings. The adjacent kitchen/diner area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, espresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. All four guests can sit at the dining table to socialise and enjoy meals together. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and benefits from a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Outside, the wooden veranda is a great spot to sit at the outdoor table and enjoy a nice coffee or perhaps some breakfast whilst taking in the views across the farmland across to Bodmin. The lodge also benefits from a children's play area to keep smaller guests entertained this is shared with the other lodge. Next to the lodge, there is private off road parking. The local surroundings have plenty to offer including a fishing lake and a selection of country walks.
