This charming property is located in the picturesque hamlet of Bilton, with the lovely coastal town of Alnmouth just a 15 minute walk away. Alnmouth offers a choice of great restaurants, cafes and gift shops, and has a beautiful golden beach. Just a few miles away is the vibrant market town of Alnwick, home of the historic Alnwick Castle and the celebrated Alnwick Garden. National Cycle Route 1 runs through the area and there are many popular seaside villages to explore including Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Warkworth, Newton by the Sea, Craster, Amble and Howick. You can also enjoy boat trips out to see the birdlife on Coquet Island or the Farne Islands, or visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. The new Greenrig halt of the Aln Valley Railway is just a mile from the cottage and can be accessed by a short walk/ cycle ride along a scenic country lane, which also continues into Alnwick On entering this attractive and snug single level ground floor holiday home, you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. With plenty of comfy seating, Smart TV, DVD, a traditional wood burner and fantastic views over the River Aln Valley, the cosy and inviting lounge is a perfect space for relaxing in at the end of a fantastic day exploring the glorious Northumberland countryside.
