House in Northumberland, Holy Island

Northumberland. Sleeps up to 6

Steeped in history and charm, this period cottage retains many of its original features, including its beautiful oak beams, while also offering modern additions that combine together for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. The house overlooks the village green, where a tree was planted by Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the island IN 1958. Shops and the village pub are all within walking distance, also. You ll find the village of Bamburgh nearby, as well as plenty of stunning beaches and castles on the mainland. The property is also within easy reach of the award winning Dark Skies Park. Enter the cottage and step into the inviting lounge, which offers a real, cosy home from home feel. Relax on the sofa in front of the log burning stove, perhaps while watching the TV or a DVD, or curled up with a good book. If you choose to dine at the property, you ll find everything you need in the kitchen; an electric oven and hob, separate fridge and freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. The dining room is spacious, with ample room for the whole family to dine together. Upstairs you ll find the cottage s three bedrooms; the master is spacious with a king size bed. There s also a bunk bedroom and a twin bedroom, which has VELUX style windows. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC, while the shower room features a walk in shower and WC. Heading outside, you ll find a small patio area to the rear of the property the perfect spot for a peaceful drink, or perhaps for planning your next day out.
