Sleeping up to 4 guests, Chantry Cottage has a charmingly traditional ambience that you're sure to fall in love with. The location is unbeatable, in the appealing village of Blythburgh within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as being close to the RSPB's Minsmere natural reserve.

Here is the starting point for numerous walks along the coast or inland along the River Blyth to Wenhaston and Halesworth and is convenient for music lovers attending the Latitude Festival at Henham Hall and the Aldeburgh Festival.

Chantry Cottage is opposite the imposing Church in Blythburgh which dominates the surrounding countryside and estuary. The Church, sometimes called the Cathedral of the Marshes hosts a number of events and concerts throughout the year. There is a pub in the village, The White Hart a short walk from the Cottage.

The White Hart, just a few minutes walk from the cottage, serves home cooked meals.

Although there is a lot on offer in the local areas surrounding Chantry Cottage you will find a cozy, peaceful hideaway when you return at the end of the day to relax in the cottage.

Accommodation Ground Floor: Sitting room With a flatscreen television and DVD player and a cosy wood burning stove. Dining room Large room with table and chairs with access from the kitchen and utility room. Plenty of books and games. Kitchen Well equipped with an eye level oven, ceramic hotplate, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with separate freezer. The kitchen door leads into the garden. Utility room With its own back door, the large utility room has a sink, washing machine and drying rack with ample storage space for bicycles, walking boots and coats. Another door from here leads to the dining room. Bedroom three Singe sized brass bed. En-suite shower room With power shower, WC and hand basin. Heated towel rail. First Floor: Bedroom one King-size brass bed. Delightful views over Blythburgh Church and the cottage garden. Bedroom two Double sized brass bed with views over the South facing garden. Outside: To the front of the garden there is a gravelled area providing off road parking for two cars and a good sized South facing garden with a small terrace and seating area. Additional Information: The garden is very private and not overlooked, it is reasonably secure but not completely dog proof. One well behaved dog is welcome (small additional charge).
