College Cottage, Nefyn

Gwynedd. Sleeps up to 5

Once a holding where a local sailing captain taught people how to build boats in the 1800s, College Cottage is a quirky and characterful cottage, resting at the centre of the Welsh coastal town of Nefyn, the property also boasts a delightful beach hut on Nefyn beach (available May to September). Tucked away in a quiet corner, head inside and step into the living/dining room where you can relax in front of the woodburning stove as you flick on the Smart TV. Three steps up from the snug living area you can find the kitchen, holding a contemporary-style and all the essential appliances tucked away beneath its sleek white and wooden units, here you can find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer, all sure to make your self-catered stay a breeze, and when you're not using the woodburning stove to warm your toes after an afternoon ramble, use the top half as a space to cook your own pizzas for a dining experience with a difference! Also on the ground floor you can find the impressive bathroom, with a Jacuzzi bath with its own rustic wooden bath caddy, you can enjoy a relaxing soak whilst listening to your choice of music on the LED Bluetooth mirror. Moving onto the first floor you will find the bedroom, consisting of both a double bed and a triple bunk, this bright and airy space is best suited to a family of four or a group of friends to catch up on their slumber. As you step out of the back stable door enjoy the freedom as you find yourself immediately on the Llyn Peninsula coastal path leading to the golden sands of the beach, where you can enjoy a day of sun soaking and ice cream indulging. College Cottage is also within close proximity to the Ty Coch Inn - one of the top ten beach bars in the world! Besides its beautiful two miles of beach, the coastal town of Nefyn offers a selection of eateries, shops, a children's play area, golf course and an enticing maritime museum, offering something to explore at any time of the year. Further afield is Pwllheli with a picturesque marina to roam, or Abersoch offering the perfect place to try out a new watersport. College Cottage is a true delight for exploring the Welsh coast.
