Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. Electric central heating (September-May €15 per week), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. On road parking (at cost Mon-Sat 9.30am-6pm). No smoking. Please note: No children.. This wonderful one-bedroomed period townhouse is situated in the heart of Tullamore, a busy town right in the centre of Ireland. It has been refurbished to a very good standard while still retaining its original character and guests can really get away from it all as there is no TV. The property is within walking distance of all the town’s amenities, and a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are on the doorstep. Tullamore Dew Visitor Centre is 5-minute walk, and for the more energetic, there is a bike hire company nearby with the lovely Grand Canal Greenway just waiting to be explored. Other activities available locally include walking and hiking at Lough Boora Park and the Slieve Bloom hiking trails. Clonmacnoise Monastery and Heritage Centre, Birr Castle with its gardens and telescope, and Kinnity Castle are other places of interest. Golf can be played at one of the many courses in the area. Shop 300 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 200 yards.. Approximate distance to Dublin airport is 109 km
