Sunderland is situated on the Northeast coast of England. The city boasts award winning resort beaches at Seaburn and Roker which attract a large number of visitors during the summer months. Roker seafront is located in St Peter's Ward in Sunderland's North Area. The area has a rich history and in 1995 Roker Park Conservation Area was declared in recognition of its architectural and historic interest.
