The first floor houses four attractive bedrooms, including a master suite with an en-suite shower room and dressing area, catering to various accommodation needs.

Tyllwyd Farmhouse is steeped in history, with records dating back to 1716, originally part of the Abertrinant Estate. The property has undergone careful restoration, maintaining its period features such as original flagstone flooring and spacious rooms. The farm, which once operated as a dairy until 2003, now offers expansive views of the Rheidol Valley and is surrounded by 80 acres of farmland, providing a serene backdrop for guests. The River Rheidol, accessible via a short drive or walk, offers excellent fishing opportunities, with permits available for those interested in angling.

In addition to the natural beauty surrounding the farmhouse, Capel Bangor offers a village shop and a pub known for its quality food and local produce. The Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge steam locomotive, which has been operating since 1902, provides a scenic way to explore the area, stopping at Capel Bangor station on its route to Devil’s Bridge.
