The location of Jackdaw Quarry Lodge is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, providing easy access to numerous cycling routes and delightful walking trails right from the doorstep. With the picturesque Lake Windermere just a 30-minute drive away, the lodge serves as an excellent base for exploring the scenic Lakes and Dales. The surrounding area is rich in local attractions, including historical landmarks such as Leighton Hall and Lune Aqueduct, as well as family-friendly sites like the Carnforth Station Heritage Centre and Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway.
The lodge itself is a marvel of modern design and construction, built to the highest standards with local stone and a unique turf roof adorned with wildflowers. Inside, the stylish and contemporary decor is complemented by thoughtful features such as discreet lighting, underfloor heating, a central vacuum system, and satellite TV with DVD players in every bedroom. Accommodating up to seven guests, the lodge boasts three well-appointed bedrooms, including one conveniently located on the ground floor for accessibility.
