High Pike is a delightful detached lodge located in the picturesque village of Welton, near Carlisle in Cumbria, North England. This inviting accommodation can comfortably sleep up to seven guests, making it ideal for families or groups. Nestled on the edge of the breathtaking Lake District National Park, it offers stunning views and easy access to the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The lodge is pet-friendly, allowing up to two dogs, which must be kept on a lead due to the surrounding sheep country.

The lodge features a convenient ground floor layout with an open-plan living space that includes a cozy living area equipped with a 32" Freeview TV and a DVD player, a dining area, and a well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances such as an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There are three spacious bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds and a pull-out bed, all featuring Freeview TVs. Additionally, there are two bathrooms, one with a shower over the bath and another with a shower cubicle, both equipped with heated towel rails.

Outside, guests can enjoy a covered veranda with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The lodge is set within one acre of landscaped grounds that include a large lawn and a shared enclosed dog exercise area. Guests can also take advantage of the shared leisure suite, which features a hot tub and sauna available for private use by prior arrangement. The property offers private parking for two cars and is conveniently located just a short distance from local amenities, with a shop 3.5 miles away and a pub and restaurant 3 miles from the lodge.

High Pike is not only a perfect retreat for relaxation but also a gateway to a variety of outdoor activities. Guests can explore the stunning landscapes of the Lake District through walking, cycling, and water sports. After a day of adventure, returning to the lodge to enjoy the evening sunset from the veranda or unwinding in the hot tub provides a perfect conclusion to the day.
