The property also boasts an enclosed lawned garden complete with decking, garden furniture, and a gas BBQ, making it a perfect spot for outdoor gatherings. The Soup Kitchen's rich history enhances its charm, having transitioned from a residential home to a Free Church, a school, and ultimately, a community store. The establishment was named to commemorate the initiative started in December 1844, which aimed to provide hot meals for local children during the colder months.
