St. Fort Wormit, located near Newport-on-Tay in Fife, Scotland, offers a pleasant first-floor apartment known as The Giddy Limit, which accommodates up to six guests. This property is nestled in a picturesque setting surrounded by woodland grounds, featuring its own private balcony. The apartment is designed with modern comforts in mind, including oil central heating, an open-plan living area with wooden flooring, and a cozy lounge equipped with a wood burner, a 40" Freeview TV, a DVD player, and a Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, while the dining area provides a welcoming space for meals.

The apartment comprises three well-appointed bedrooms, each with flexible sleeping arrangements. Bedrooms one and two feature zip and link king-size beds that can be converted into twin beds upon request, and both have en-suite bathrooms with showers, WCs, and heated towel rails. The third bedroom, with a double bed and sloping ceiling, also includes an en-suite bathroom. The property includes all essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, and an initial supply of fuel for the wood burner. Guests can enjoy the shared seven-acre woodland grounds, ample parking, and a cycle store, although caution is advised due to sloping banks, steps, and an unfenced pond in the vicinity.

The Giddy Limit is situated within a historically significant B Listed Arts and Crafts house designed by Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott, one of only two such buildings in Scotland. Originally built in 1902 for Harben J Valentine, a photographic publisher, the house has a rich history, including a catastrophic fire in 1910 that led to a redesign by Baillie Scott. The property has undergone various transformations, serving as a family home and later as a hotel, with recent restorations maintaining its Arts and Crafts style through the use of solid oak beams and a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings.

This location serves as an ideal base for exploring the scenic rural Fife area, with historic sites such as St Andrews, Dundee, and Cupar just a short drive away. The nearby Tentsmuir Country Park offers beautiful sandy beaches and dunes, enhancing the appeal of the setting. Guests interested in the Arts and Crafts movement can arrange guided tours of the architecture. Additionally, The Giddy Limit can be booked alongside other properties, allowing for larger groups of up to 20 guests, making it a versatile option for family gatherings or group retreats.
