The location is rich in history, being part of Reach Court Farm, which was notable during World War II as one of the only working farms at that time. This farm, known as ‘Front Line Farm,’ is the closest to France and is just a short walk from the scenic St. Margaret’s Bay.

The area is steeped in local history, with remnants from the Second World War scattered throughout the countryside, including old gun placements and bunkers.
