Set against the scenic backdrop of the Llangollen Canal, the cottage serves as an ideal base for a variety of outdoor activities, including canoeing, cycling, and walking. Its proximity to the renowned Llangollen International Eisteddfod, just six miles away, enhances its appeal. The region boasts excellent travel connections with nearby train stations at Gobowen and Chirk, as well as easy access to major roads like the A483 and A5, facilitating visits to attractions in Chester, North Wales, and beyond.

The cottage, originally built for mine and canal workers, has been tastefully transformed into a modern living space while retaining its historical charm. It features three double bedrooms, including one with a cozy "Juliet balcony" overlooking the canal, along with two well-appointed bathrooms. The spacious interior is fully furnished, complete with essential amenities such as a modern kitchen equipped with a variety of appliances and utensils, and a comfortable living area adorned with original beams and wooden flooring. For families traveling with infants, complimentary items such as a travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

Guests can enjoy the serene views from the furnished patio, where they may spot ducks, geese, and passing canal boats. The cottage also provides a selection of entertainment options, including books, DVDs, and games, ensuring a relaxing stay. For those bringing their own bicycles or canoes, a secure garage is available for storage. The property includes shared parking spaces and offers easy access to two patios and a grassy area by the canal, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
