Loch Rannoch Highland Club is nestled in the picturesque village of Kinloch Rannoch, located in the scenic Perthshire region of Scotland. This idyllic retreat offers stunning views of Loch Rannoch and is set against a backdrop of majestic highland scenery. The lodges are designed with pet-friendly accommodations, making it an ideal getaway for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities such as walking, fishing, cycling, and horse riding, while also having the opportunity to observe some of the UK’s rarest wildlife, including Red Squirrels, Golden Eagles, and Pine Martens.

The Otter Lodges can accommodate up to six guests, featuring two double bedrooms equipped with versatile “zip and link” single beds and a pull-down Griffen double bed in the lounge. Each bedroom is designed for comfort, offering ample storage, individual heating, and reading lamps. The master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom, while both bathrooms come with full-size baths, showers, heated towel rails, and shaver points. Additionally, each lodge boasts its own sauna, enhancing the relaxation experience after a day of outdoor activities.

The interior of the lodges is tastefully furnished, providing a cozy atmosphere with large patio doors that open to a furnished conservatory. A spacious sitting room includes a games table, leather seating, and ambient lighting, creating a perfect space for gathering. The dining area accommodates six, making it ideal for entertaining. The fully-fitted kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, along with a complete set of crockery and utensils. Extra amenities like irons, cots, high chairs, and stair gates are available upon request, ensuring a comfortable stay for families.

Kinloch Rannoch itself is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, including high hills and remnants of the ancient Caledonian pine forests, offering various walking routes, including the famous Munro Schiehallion. The area is recognized for its “Dark Skies,” providing spectacular views of the stars and the potential for witnessing the Northern Lights. Nearby attractions include Rannoch Station, which offers scenic train journeys, and the charming towns of Blair Atholl and Pitlochry, known for their cultural landmarks and outdoor activities.
