Llwyn-y-neuadd Cottage is a perfect secluded "get-a-way" self catering holiday home in The Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. The house will sleep comfortably 6 guests in three bedrooms. Great for children to run free and in this remote and glorious location visitors are welcome to bring two well behaved dogs.

Please be aware that in Wales there are more sheep than people!!

There are fantastic panoramic views and great walks from the door.

This warm and cosy 17th century Welsh longhouse has been well converted keeping the traditional features, ancient beams and stone flag floors; in a beautiful location with extraordinary panoramic views - you can see for over 50 miles. The house is reached down an ancient drover's road through woodlands, crossing a ford, and is set in over an acre of woodlands.

This is the most peaceful and tranquil spot with the views of the Black Mountain (the Western side of the National Park designated as a World Heritage Geo Park and now part of The Dark Sky status of The Brecon Beacons National Park) making it one of the best houses for stargazing.

With excellent walks straight from the cottage and there is masses of wildlife and birds to be seen, including several pairs of red kite that nest nearby. So secluded and peaceful the nearest neighbours are almost a mile away.

Cottage Accommodation:

Sleeps 6 - 1 Kingsize, 1 Double, 1 Twin

The kitchen is large and has everything you need - with an electric hob, oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Kitchen table and chairs.

Down a few stone steps to the oldest part of the farmhouse where the traditional flagstone floors have been retained and the original bread oven and old kitchen range.

The utility room has a Belfast sink, a freezer, fridge, washing machine and a tumble dryer and has ample storage, including re-cycling facilities.

The dining room with a lovely oak dining table and matching chairs and again the original flagstone floors.

The sitting room with its old oak beams, large woodburning stove set in a stone fireplace is warm and comfortable with sofas and chairs, Flatscreen TV with basic Sky package, DVD, CD Player and wi-fi. Plenty of wood for the wood burning stove.

There is a music system with speakers in the dining room, kitchen.

French doors lead from the sitting room out onto the sunny patio with garden furniture.

The hall also with flagstone floors has an area for hanging coats and walking gear.

Upstairs to:

Bedroom 1: A large master bedroom with a king-size bed and with wonderful views across to the Black Mountain

Bedroom 2: A double bed

Bedroom 3: Twin beds

Bathroom: Has a bath, walk in shower, toilet and handbasin.

There is also an additional separate toilet, and handbasin upstairs.

Nearest pub 4 miles. Shop/restaurants 8 miles to Llandeilo in the Towy river valley, Llandeilo also boasts the Heart of Wales railway line, the nearby Aberglasney House and Gardens, The National Botanic Gardens. Only 50 minutes to Pendine Sands and 3 miles from the historic site of Carn Goch just above Bethlehem.
