Guests are granted complimentary access to the estate's expansive parkland, allowing them to explore the natural beauty of the area. The ground floor features a cozy living and dining room equipped with Sky TV and a wooden floor, alongside a well-furnished kitchen that includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The sleeping arrangements consist of a versatile bedroom with zip and link twin beds that can be configured as a super king-size upon request, as well as a shower room and a separate toilet for convenience.

On the first floor, the lodge offers two additional bedrooms, one of which also has zip and link twin beds, while the other contains twin beds. A spacious bathroom completes the upper level, featuring a free-standing roll-top bath, a shower cubicle, and a toilet. The property is equipped with oil central heating, and essentials such as electricity, bed linen, and towels are included. Guests can enjoy a welcome pack upon arrival and share outdoor spaces, including a courtyard terrace with garden furniture. Notably, the estate features unfenced lakes and fenced ponds, so guests are advised to supervise children and pets, as two dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

The Maunsel Estate, with its rich history dating back to the 13th century, serves as the ancestral home of the Slade Family. Visitors may have the opportunity to meet Sir Benjamin Slade, the current owner, who often welcomes guests for tours of the main house accompanied by a glass of champagne. The estate is home to several other properties, including Mill Farmhouse, which boasts oak floors and a wood burner, and Barn Owl Cottage, which was once the site of a wheelwright and offers stunning views of the estate's lakes. Dairy Mead Lodge, a thatched dairy conversion, is conveniently located near Maunsel House, while Front Lodge, the gatehouse, overlooks the beautiful parkland filled with wildlife.

Spanning over 2,000 acres, the Maunsel Estate comprises farms, lakes, woodlands, and orchards, providing ample opportunities for exploration and leisure. The estate is conveniently located near major attractions in Somerset, with easy access to the M5 motorway, making it a perfect base for visiting nearby towns such as Taunton, Burnham-on-Sea, Glastonbury, and Wells. The beach is just 17 miles away, while a shop is two miles from the property, and a pub and restaurant are located a mere 300 yards away. For larger groups, the properties on the estate can be booked together to accommodate up to 30 guests, making it an ideal destination for family gatherings or group retreats.
