Visitors can explore local museums, enjoy a swim at the pool, or engage in fun activities at The Puzzling Place, making it an excellent choice for rainy days. In addition, Keswick offers cultural experiences such as performances at the Theatre by the Lake and boat rides on Derwentwater, providing opportunities to discover the scenic lakeside villages and viewpoints.
Upon entering the cottage, guests are welcomed into a stylish kitchen/diner that boasts a contemporary design, complete with modern amenities such as a fan oven, gas hobs, built-in fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The dining table is set for sociable meals, comfortably accommodating four but expandable to seat all six guests. After enjoying dinner, guests can relax in the cozy lounge, featuring a wood burner that creates a warm atmosphere for winding down after a day of exploration.
Upstairs, the accommodation offers three beautifully decorated bedrooms that exude a calming ambiance, characterized by sloping ceilings and exposed beams. The first double bedroom provides stunning views over Braithwaite and the surrounding fells, while the second double features an ornamental fireplace and delightful vistas. The twin bedroom is perfectly suited for children. All bedrooms share a family bathroom equipped with a shower over a jacuzzi bath. Parking is available for one car on the road beside the house, with additional on-street parking options in the village, while guests are reminded to avoid parking in the side lane at any time.
