Dovedale House, located in Ruswarp, North Yorkshire, has undergone a complete renovation in 2022-23, transforming it into a modern and inviting vacation home that accommodates up to six guests across four bedrooms. This property features a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, a cozy lounge with a wood-burning stove, and a private driveway that provides parking for two cars. Its elevated position offers stunning views across the fields towards a nearby viaduct and steam railway, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking both comfort and scenic beauty.

The interior of Dovedale House is designed for relaxation and enjoyment. The ground floor includes a spacious hallway leading to a separate dining room, lounge, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as an integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, and induction hob, along with a Grind coffee machine that comes with compostable coffee pods. The dining room table, which seats six, boasts lovely views of the surrounding fields, while the lounge features comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove, and a Sky Glass TV with Netflix access. High-speed WiFi is also available, ensuring guests can easily stream their favorite shows and movies.

Upstairs, guests will find a generous landing that leads to four well-appointed bedrooms and a stylish bathroom. The two king-size bedrooms offer picturesque views across the fields, while the smaller single bedroom also enjoys this outlook. The fourth bedroom, another single, is located at the back of the house. All bedrooms are fitted with blackout roller blinds and Roman blinds for added comfort. The bathroom is a luxurious space, featuring both a walk-in shower and a separate freestanding slipper bath. The decor throughout the house showcases unique designs from various artists, including Mark Hearld wallpaper and Tom Frost screenprints, complemented by original watercolours by local artist Ben Kelly, who had a deep affection for the area.
