The cottage’s layout is designed to maximize the breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes and countryside, with an open-plan kitchen/lounge and dining area located on the upper floor.
Guests can enjoy a peaceful retreat, ideal for families, dog owners, cyclists, and walkers, in an area recognized for its outstanding natural beauty and designated as a Dark Sky Landscape. The property is family-run, ensuring a relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle, and it accommodates up to six guests. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, bed linen, electricity, and heating, along with a complimentary cream tea upon arrival. For those with a sweet tooth, home-baked treats are available for purchase on-site, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
To ensure a smooth stay, guests are welcomed from 3 PM on their arrival day and are requested to vacate the cottage by 10 AM on departure day. Early or late arrivals can be accommodated with prior communication. The cottage is equipped with a laundry room, and guests can also arrange for grocery deliveries from local stores. Additional services include the availability of cots and high chairs at no extra charge, while smoking is prohibited inside the cottages to maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
For dog owners, Barn Cottage is pet-friendly, allowing up to two dogs per unit, with specific rules to ensure the comfort of all guests. Dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage, are required to stay off furniture, and should be kept on a lead while outside.
