The ancient Barony of Arbigland, encompassing farmland, woodland, and foreshore along the Solway Firth coast, is rich in natural beauty and biodiversity. This area is part of the Nith Estuary Special Area of Conservation and the Upper Solway Special Site of Scientific Interest, making it a haven for wildlife. Outdoor enthusiasts will find a variety of activities nearby, including golf, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching, and hill walking.
