Verity is a charismatic holiday cottage located in a scenic lighthouse setting in Padstow, Cornwall, part of the South West of England. This unique accommodation is one of four cottages available at the lighthouse, which is perched on a headland that overlooks the picturesque sandy beaches of Harlyn and Constantine Bays, just four miles west of the bustling town of Padstow. The historic lighthouse, built in 1847, has undergone several upgrades over the years, including electrification in 1973 and automation in 1995, though the site remains closed to the public, ensuring a peaceful retreat for guests.

The cottages, including Verity, are semi-detached and nestled beneath a headland that rises 75 feet above the sea, providing stunning views of the ocean. Access to the cottages is via a private, one-mile-long road, enhancing the sense of seclusion. Guests can enjoy watching fishing boats navigate the waters as they come in and out of Padstow, adding to the coastal charm of the location. The communal tarmac forecourt at the front of the cottages offers parking, while the rear features a shared, walled grass area that is fenced at the cliff edge, although safety precautions advise against using this space.

Verity accommodates up to four guests, making it an ideal choice for families or small groups looking to explore the natural beauty of the area. The site also includes three other cottages: Brook Cottage, Pelorus Cottage, and Nimbus Cottage, each sleeping four guests. This arrangement allows for larger gatherings or multiple families to enjoy the tranquil setting together while still maintaining their own private spaces.

The South West Coast Path runs around the headland, offering guests the opportunity to experience breathtaking coastal walks toward Padstow.
