The Creamery at Plas Treforgan is a home-like cottage located just three minutes from Cardigan town and near the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay in Wales. Set within the extensive grounds of a beautifully restored Grade II listed Georgian Country House Estate, the cottage boasts an enchanting walled garden and a summer house. Originally the Dairy of the main house, this high-quality retreat offers a serene atmosphere, opening onto a picturesque cobbled courtyard, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking peace and tranquility.
This delightful accommodation sleeps four guests in two well-appointed double bedrooms. The first bedroom features a double bed, bedside tables, and views of the cobbled courtyard, while the second bedroom also includes a double bed and a wash basin. The cottage is equipped with a modern bathroom that includes a shower, WC, and heated towel rail. The inviting sitting and dining area is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a dining table for four, and a Freeview TV, all with lovely views over the courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, ensuring a homely and convenient stay.
Guests at The Creamery can enjoy the surrounding 16 acres of grounds, which include a cobbled courtyard, walled garden, and expansive lawns, perfect for relaxation and play. Families will appreciate the sunken formal lawn, BBQ area, and a small children's play area. Additionally, there are two large fields, one featuring a pond, where children must be supervised. Care is required in the walled garden, and while dogs are welcome, they are not permitted inside this area. A tumble dryer is available in the 'Fisherman’s Shed' for guests' convenience, along with additional fridge and freezer space.
