Osdale Farmhouse, located in Dunvegan near Portree on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, offers a charming retreat for up to four guests, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Nestled off the beaten track, this farmhouse provides stunning views of the surrounding Highlands, where visitors can immerse themselves in nature amidst sheep, cattle, and deer. The property boasts a cosy interior with modern amenities while retaining its historical character, originally built in the 1870s and meticulously restored in 2006.

The ground floor features an open-plan living space with a tiled floor, complete with a living area that includes a wood burner, a 20" Freeview TV, and a dining area. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, as well as a separate toilet. The first floor comprises two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with twin beds, both adorned with wooden floors.

Osdale Farmhouse is equipped with electric underfloor central heating on the ground floor and electric heaters on the first floor, alongside complimentary Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, and logs for the wood burner. Families are well-catered for with the availability of a travel cot, highchair, and stairgate upon request. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a large natural garden complete with a sitting area, garden furniture, and a BBQ, as well as a bike store and private parking for two cars. It is important to note that the property has a natural water supply from a spring and is situated along an unmade road that may not be suitable for low cars.

The farmhouse's location beneath the Macleod’s Tables allows for breathtaking views and easy access to local wildlife, including red deer and eagles. Guests can enjoy outdoor activities like climbing and coasteering, with the beach only three-quarters of a mile away. The nearby village of Dunvegan, just 1.5 miles away, offers local shops, cafés, and the famous Dunvegan Castle. For larger groups, Osdale Farmhouse can be booked alongside Osdale Byre to accommodate up to eight guests, making it a versatile option for family gatherings or friend retreats in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
