Camborne/ Cornwall

4

Situated in the charming town of Camborne, Cornwall, this picturesque captain's cottage, constructed from granite stone in 1820, offers a unique coastal retreat that can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. With a cozy cabin-like atmosphere, the self-contained flat features a private entrance, free street parking, and a kitchenette equipped with essential amenities, including hot and cold filtered water, a desktop oven, a two-ringed hob, and a fridge freezer. The space is adorned with beautiful original flagstone flooring, exposed ceiling beams, and a stunning walk-in shower, creating an inviting environment that feels like stepping back in time.

The cottage's sleeping arrangements consist of a comfortable double bed, a sofa bed suitable for two children or one adult, and a single floor mattress, making it ideal for a couple and two children under the age of 14. Although the area is approximately 17.5 square meters, it has been known to accommodate up to five adults, though this is not recommended. The bathroom is separate and exclusively for the guests' use, ensuring privacy during their stay. Additionally, a Jack and Jill door in the hallway offers the potential for an extra bedroom upon request, although it is currently unavailable.

Camborne's prime location allows for easy access to a variety of attractions, with popular destinations such as St Ives, Penzance, Truro, and St Michael's Mount just 25 minutes away. The stunning beaches of Portreath and Gwithian Bay can be reached within a 12 to 17-minute drive, while the renowned Eden Project, Porthcurno Beach, Minack Theatre, and Lands End are approximately 45 minutes away. Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby Tehidy Woods, located just a 10-minute drive from the cottage, providing ample opportunities for exploration and outdoor activities.

Guests can enjoy free parking around the property, and the apartment is thoroughly cleaned between stays, ensuring a pleasant experience. It is important to note that due to the age of the cottage and its natural materials, occasional marks or insects may appear. To address this, a bug spray or spider catcher will be provided. The cottage is situated near local landmarks such as Poldark Mine and Godolphin Estate, offering various activities, including kayaking, windsurfing, and surfing/body boarding adventures nearby, making it an excellent choice for those seeking both relaxation and adventure in the stunning Cornish landscape.
