Additionally, various leisure activities such as golf, horse riding, and visits to notable attractions like RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, and the Eden Project can be enjoyed within a short drive. Alternatively, guests can unwind in the peaceful surroundings of the Devon countryside, where an array of wildlife, including birds, kingfishers, deer, otters, badgers, and owls, can often be spotted.

Inside The Mill House, the ground floor features a utility room equipped with a washing machine and a separate WC. Ascending to the first floor, visitors will find an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area that overlooks the garden and river. This inviting space is furnished with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and an electric wood burner effect fire, creating a cozy atmosphere after a day of exploration. The dining area accommodates four guests, while the well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. The first floor also houses two bedrooms—a double and a twin (which can be converted into a super king-size bed upon request)—both fitted with TVs. A bathroom with a shower over bath and WC completes the indoor accommodations.

Outside, guests can enjoy a decked area featuring a hot tub, perfect for relaxation under the stars with a glass of wine. The garden and orchard along the riverbanks are available for leisurely strolls, while families can take advantage of the enclosed area for children and pets to play safely. The property is home to resident chickens that provide fresh organic eggs, as well as two native Fell ponies named Fern and Venus, part of a breeding program aimed at restoring their population. Visitors are reminded to exercise caution with children and pets near the river at the bottom of the garden. Additional amenities include a double door fridge/freezer in the garage and space for two cars, with a traditional Devon longhouse located across the driveway, enhancing the charm of this delightful retreat.
