Known as Coachman’s Cottage, the property is steeped in history, originally serving as part of the coach house and stables for Pencombe Hall, built by the Arkwright family in 1862. The cottage features a blend of original character and modern amenities, making it a comfortable base for exploring the scenic Heart of England region, with both Hereford and Leominster just a short drive away.

The ground floor of the cottage includes a cozy living and dining area complete with a wood burner and Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. The well-equipped kitchen features a breakfast area, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, ensuring that all your culinary needs are met. A separate toilet is also conveniently located on this level. Upstairs, guests will find two inviting bedrooms: one with a zip and link super king-size bed (which can be converted to twin beds upon request) and another with a king-size bed. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a toilet, providing a comfortable space for guests to refresh.

Outside, Coachman’s Cottage boasts a private lawned garden with a patio, garden furniture, and a summerhouse, ideal for enjoying barbecues on warm summer evenings. The property is set within approximately 1 acre of gardens, and guests can also request access to the owners’ garden. The area is pet-friendly, allowing for two small dogs to accompany guests, and there is a bike storage facility available. Private parking for two cars is provided, and the property maintains a no-smoking policy. Additionally, an initial supply of logs for the wood burner is included, with further logs available for a small fee.
