Arngill Cottage, located in Muker, North Yorkshire, is a beautifully renovated character cottage that accommodates up to four guests. The ground floor of Arngill Cottage boasts a spacious entrance lobby, perfect for storing outdoor clothing and boots. The lounge and dining area is a large open space illuminated by double aspect windows, complete with window seats, a TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, and a cozy wood-burning stove. The kitchen area is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine, as well as a separate toilet for convenience. Central heating, power, towels, and bed linens are included in the rental, while Wi-Fi is also available for guests.

On the first floor, guests will find two inviting bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other featuring twin beds. The bathroom is equipped with a Mira shower over the bath, toilet, basin, and shaver point. The cottage welcomes one well-behaved pet, making it a suitable option for those traveling with furry companions. While logs for the wood-burning stove can be purchased locally in Reeth, Hawes, and Kirkby Stephen, they are not provided with the rental.

Originally built as Muker’s Wesleyan Chapel in 1845 and converted into cottages in the 1940s, Arngill Cottage has been lovingly restored to preserve its historical charm. The property features a stone-flagged entrance hall, a striking staircase leading to a balustrated landing, solid oak floorboards, and lime-washed walls. The open-plan living area showcases a beamed ceiling and a stone and lime-rendered fireplace, while the kitchen retains original exposed beams and handcrafted elements from the chapel. With its breathtaking views and rich wildlife, Arngill Cottage serves as an excellent base for a variety of year-round activities or simply unwinding in a tranquil setting.
